wizadvice was founded in 2017 by Zahi Azouri, after he has extensively worked in the fields of management consulting and advisory tailored to Mid-sized and Large Enterprises (MLEs).

 

Zahi has significantly interacted with MLEs; he worked with some of them on management consulting engagements as part of Booz & Company, but was also retained by other MLEs as their long-term Advisor. Additionally, he has held roles at Executive Committee and Board of Director levels.

 

Several MLEs require long term, but focused and cost-effective management support services that are not easily available in the market; that’s why wizadvice was created, aiming at offering an advisory and management support engagement model that ensures a long term financially sustainable relation, with execution accountability, and with knowledge transfer to the client staff.

As the founder of wizadvice, my vision has always been to empower mid-sized and large enterprises to reach their full potential. Having navigated the complexities of various industries, I understand the pivotal challenges businesses face at different growth stages.

 

Our initial mission was to focus on providing management support that not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters long-term sustainability. Since our inception however, we have evolved from a plain management support advisory into a comprehensive service provider, also offering M&A transaction advisory, valuation, and financial modeling as subcontractors to larger consulting firms.

 

In addition to the 2019 global pandemic, and as a small team based in Lebanon, we have faced and overcome significant challenges of all kinds, including the severe economic, banking, and financial meltdowns in 2019, the horrible Beirut Port Explosion in 2020, an earthquake, and an ever-lasting regional unrest that has dramatically escalated since October 2023. We turned these adversities into opportunities, notably using COVID-19 as a catalyst to promote our remote service offerings that are still proving very successful to date. This helped us have most of our clients based outside Lebanon, particularly in the GCC and Africa; however, it is our unwavering dedication to delivering top quality advice - comparable to market leaders and at more affordable rates with greater customization - that has sustained our success with these remote clients.
