THE REQUEST
- Conduct an independent third-party Valuation of the Trademark share of the business that is attributable to Uganda market only
- Use the Valuation report for maximizing tax savings by excluding the potential future Trademark profits generated in other tax jurisdictions
OUR APPROACH
- Conducted 2 valuation approaches by following the Relief from Royalty Method (RRM) which is used for valuing intangible assets such as trademarks
- Complemented the two RRM valuation results by using a market-based valuation multiple of the current net annual royalty
- Used the resulting valuations to determine the lower and higher ends of the indicative valuation range

- Valuation Report detailing the methodology and calculation of the different valuation approaches
